- 1 credit = 1 lesson of 50 minutes. (Section 5, T&C)
- Final prices: no VAT is added. The price you see is the price you pay. (Section 5, T&C)
- Pay securely through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or by bank transfer (IBAN / Wise). Your lessons are added once the payment is confirmed. (Section 5–6, T&C)
- Need something different? Ask me about a personal pack, with its own number of lessons, price and validity. (Section 5, T&C)
3Booking a lesson
- Book on the Book page of this site, from my free times. (Section 7, T&C)
- Book at least 24 hours ahead, and up to 21 days ahead. (Section 7, T&C)
- Lessons last 50 minutes, on Google Meet. Each lesson uses one credit. (Section 2 & 7, T&C)
- You get an email from info@englisylessons.com with the Meet link and a calendar file. The link is in your account too. (Section 7, T&C)
- When you join, Meet may show “Ask to join”: tap it and I’ll let you in.
4Cancelling
- More than 20 hours beforeCancel for free in your account. Your credit comes back. (Section 7, T&C)
- Less than 20 hours beforeYou can’t cancel any more. The lesson counts as used. (Section 7, T&C)
- Lesson timeNot there 10 minutes after the start, and no message? It’s a no-show (see below). (Section 7(c), T&C)
- Want another time? Cancel (more than 20 hours before) and book a new slot. (Section 7, T&C)
- You can also cancel by email to info@englisylessons.com. What counts is the time your email reaches me. (Section 7, T&C)
- The free trial works the same way: cancel more than 20 hours before and you can book it again. After that, the trial counts as used. (Section 4 & 7, T&C)
- Sudden illness or an emergency? Tell me. In truly exceptional cases I may waive the 20-hour rule. (Section 7, T&C)
5Late or missed
- Running late? Message me on WhatsApp or email info@englisylessons.com before the lesson starts, saying roughly how late you’ll be. I share my number with you after you sign up. (Section 7(a), T&C)
- If you’ve told me, I wait for you. The lesson still ends at the booked time and counts as a full lesson. (Section 7(b), T&C)
- If I haven’t heard from you and you haven’t joined within 10 minutes of the start, it’s a no-show: the credit is used and the lesson isn’t rescheduled. (Section 7(c), T&C)
- Connection or device problems on your side count the same way as being late. (Section 7(e), T&C)
6If I cancel or can’t make it
- If I have to cancel, I tell you as early as possible and your credit comes back in full. (Section 7(d), T&C)
- If I’m late, you get all the time back: in that lesson or, if that’s not possible, in a later one. (Section 7(d), T&C)
- If I miss a lesson without telling you, your credit comes back and you get one extra lesson free. (Section 7(d), T&C)
- A technical problem on my side? Your credit comes back or we make up the time. (Section 7(e), T&C)
- If you can’t use your lessons because of me (I cancel, I’m away, or I have no free times for you), your expiry date moves back by the same amount of time. (Section 5, T&C)
7When lessons expire
4 lessons6 weeks
8 lessons2 months
12 lessons3 months
Counted from the day you buy. A personal pack has its own validity, shown before you buy. (Section 5, T&C)
- The lessons that expire soonest are used first. (Section 5 & 7, T&C)
- After the expiry date, unused lessons are removed automatically. Lessons you've already booked are safe. (Section 5, T&C)
- Your account page shows how many lessons you have left and when they expire.
- I’ll email you a reminder 10 days before your unused lessons expire. (Section 5, T&C)
- Expired lessons aren’t refundable, except where the law says otherwise. (Section 5 & 9, T&C)
8Refunds
- You can withdraw within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason: just email me at info@englisylessons.com. I refund you within 14 days, to the same payment method. (Section 8, T&C)
- If you asked for lessons to start straight away (a tick at checkout) and then withdraw, I refund the unused lessons and keep the price of the lessons already taken, including lessons cancelled less than 20 hours ahead, at your pack’s price per lesson. (Section 8, T&C)
- Once all the lessons in your pack have been taken, the right to withdraw no longer applies. (Section 8, T&C)
- After the 14 days, I may refund unused lessons for serious reasons. Lessons already used, late cancellations and no-shows aren’t refundable. (Section 9, T&C)
- The free trial costs nothing, so there’s nothing to pay or refund. (Section 4, T&C)
